My name is Rachel Press and I am SPMU artist specialising in Microblading. I have a wealth of experience and I have been microblading for 8 years.

I also offer SPMU lip blush, ombre/powder brows and eyeliner & Fibroblast skin tightening.

My salon is in Plympton and I travel to St Austell once a month for Cornwall client base.

Microblading

When you’ve tried every pencil, powder, pigment and stencil at the makeup counter and your brows are still a little sparse, why not consider microblading? A more permanent fix for thin brows that promises to change your brow life!

Microblading can only ever be done by hand, and it is so important to make sure you’re getting your brows done by a fully qualified beauty therapist who has a vast portfolio of professionally done brows.

Microblading is done using a hand held instrument with a small row of very fine needles that deposit pigment into the epidermis when feathering strokes onto the skin. This creates crisp, fine hair strokes that don’t blur after healing.

This method is perfect for anyone wanting to enhance the look of their brows. The results are a natural, flawless, fuller looking brow.

Microblading differs from conventional semi-permanent tattooing by the very fact that it is a manual process. When using a hand held microblade, the colour is deposited closer to the surface than when a machine is used leaving very fine and crisp hair strokes with no spilling under the skin.

Microblading tends to last between 18-36 months and after this time may need a colour boost or refresh.

With all semi-permanent procedures it is the practitioners responsibility to  make sure that there are no contraindications to treatment. If there is a medical condition the clinic doctor will be consulted prior to treatment. REMEMBER: We have your best interests in mind.

SPMU

This technique involves injecting pigment through a fine vibrating needle into the most superficial layers of the skin. I offer semi-permanent make-up : lip blush, ombre/powder brows and eyeliner.
